"The staff were so welcoming and lovely it made the stay so enjoyable. There was an issue with WiFi and the staff couldn't apologise enough. It did not matter to us as we could enjoy the stay without the phones/emails etc. The food was all home cooked and delicious. Will definitely visit again."

"Contrary to some reviews i have read about this establishment, we were very impressed! The staff were really lovely and very helpful, friendly and efficient. The room was clean,well appointed and quiet. We ate there both evenings of our stay and i honestly couldn't fault our meals in any way. Simply delicious and plenty of it. Breakfast was also very good and massive! We will definately be staying here again and i thouroughly,wholeheartedly reccommend it to anyone. Well done Burrator inn."

"Parking was limited to 3 narrow spaces at the rear of the guesthouse but there is the option of residents parking in a nearby street (we were given a residents parking permit). We were in an en-suite room in the basement, with use of the fridge and microwave in the basement kitchen area which was useful. There were a couple of cobwebs in the corners of the room but the shower, toilet, sink and bed were spotless. Breakfast was great, with a varied menu. The dining room was clean and welcoming....

"This is not a hotel. its more of a doss house. Paid for 2 nights. went to the moxy instead which is just another level compared to this. Yes its cheap, but the whole area feels unsafe, and you wouldnt want to leave your car here."

"Kind and lovely people, lovely chat and they really cared. Very much a spare room in the end of their house with a it’s own bathroom so very homely. Breakfast room was a breakfast room with lots of stuff and a cat (I loved the cat). It’s down a very rough and rocky track in the car. Basically it’s an authentic working farm with some lovely farmers who make a solid breakfast. I’d be back. If you are looking for a polished hotel experience this isn’t for you but for a real life nice people...

"I could not praise the staff here more, despite my room not being available till lunch that day, they were more than happy for me to come down earlier to pick up my room key and drop off my bags before a day at university. Not only were the staff welcoming and the hospitality warm and comforting, the staff often went above and beyond to help, and were happy to engage in conversation.
