"Contrary to some reviews i have read about this establishment, we were very impressed! The staff were really lovely and very helpful, friendly and efficient. The room was clean,well appointed and quiet. We ate there both evenings of our stay and i honestly couldn't fault our meals in any way. Simply delicious and plenty of it. Breakfast was also very good and massive! We will definately be staying here again and i thouroughly,wholeheartedly reccommend it to anyone. Well done Burrator inn."

"Parking was limited to 3 narrow spaces at the rear of the guesthouse but there is the option of residents parking in a nearby street (we were given a residents parking permit). We were in an en-suite room in the basement, with use of the fridge and microwave in the basement kitchen area which was useful. There were a couple of cobwebs in the corners of the room but the shower, toilet, sink and bed were spotless. Breakfast was great, with a varied menu. The dining room was clean and welcoming....

"I could not praise the staff here more, despite my room not being available till lunch that day, they were more than happy for me to come down earlier to pick up my room key and drop off my bags before a day at university. Not only were the staff welcoming and the hospitality warm and comforting, the staff often went above and beyond to help, and were happy to engage in conversation. Breakfast the following day was cooked on request and had that home feel most B&B's lack. Overall, could not...

"A couple of downsides - stairs rather steep and a little dimly lit for an elderly lady and not sure sound proofing in rooms is that good but otherwise very enjoyable stay with very accommodating hosts "
