"Estrella del Norte was just that. An amazing stay, the villa was in great condition. Nina was beyond fantastic with her service and her cooking. She went above and beyond for everything. We would def stay here again. I do suggest that if you go in the wetter or colder month to have a 4x4 vehicle as the roads are not the best and the location of the house has a few steep slopes. If traveling in a large group it’s best to have 2 vehicles since the weight also impacts the drive up hill. As for the...

"The villa was very comfortable and fit our family needs. The beach across the street was great for our grandchildren for swimming and snorkeling. Even our 6 year old granddaughter was able to enjoy swimming in the calm water. Francheska was great at answering all our questions with prompt responses. "Our stay, although short, was very nice at Castillo Romano. Theo and Morena made sure to welcome me and my family with open arms. Morena is an amazing cook and very friendly. Don Theo is the best! He helped us with anything we needed in the house and even gave us good advise for our trip to El Salto Del Limón. The castle is well kept and has amazing views. If ever back in the Terrenas with my huge family, I’ll be sure to book again!"

"Communication was excellent and Stephanie and staff provided us with all the comforts for a wonderful vacation. A short walk to the beach provided us with lots of beach time and restaurants in Las Terrenas are plentiful. I especially recommend the Italian restaurant in the Spanish plaza and the French bakery! And if you don’t feel like going out I recommend downloading the Komida app and ordering in. They are super fast and reliable. Thank you for a great vacation!"

"We just spent two nights, but overall everything was amazing. The place same as in the pictures, place was clean and the staff is very friendly. They have a person watching the property even tho is safe becuase is inside a resort. I definitely would come back."

"The house was beautiful, the location was perfect and the staff that checked us in and out were helpful and kind. Only cons were that the electric bill was kind of high and the cost is not based on the current exchange rate. The hot tub isn’t hot, so it’s running and you’re paying the electric but who wants to get in a cold tub? Also, the linens, towels and pillows could stand to be replaced. Still things things would not deter me from going back, just helpful to be aware of these things...

"Love this place. It may seem small but it has everything it needs!! Fully surrounded by trees and nature, and there’s even a little river close by. There is hot water, and also an included breakfast, loved this since I didn’t have to worry about waking up and trying to come up with something to eat. If he food was really good. Both Hosts were just lovely and amazing. Really would come back here."

"This villa is perfect for a few days in the heart of Las Terrenas. It's just tucked away enough that you can get a solid night of undisturbed sleep but close enough that you can easily walk to anywhere in town in a few minutes. The manager was very responsive and helpful. Just bear in mind that you aren't going to get anything fixed on a Sunday in the DR. We had a bit of a clogged drain in the shower, it wasn't a big deal in the end, so that doesn't impact my rating at all. The villa is comfy...

"We enjoyed stepping into the jungle for a few days on our trip. The breakfast was excellent but we did not read the fine print that it is only on the first day. Dominic was kind enough to send us with some bananas on our drive. It was really fun and still close to everything if you have a car. "
