"The hotel was nice but it wasn’t worth 5 star review. The breakfast was amazing. The room was nice enough but they only had a sheet on the bed. There was a blanket in the closet but it smelled like someone else’s sweat so we couldn’t use it. The windows don’t all close and the road next to the hotel is extremely loud with the motorbikes, so that was pretty annoying. Also, the hosts speak zero English and only French and Spanish, so it was a bit difficult to get help. The hotel was supposed to be...

"The room was very spacious and clean. It was a little odd that there weren’t numbers by the door so you need to remember which room is yours but nothing too major. We had a late flight that day from Santo Domingo and Bartolomeo let us check out late and enjoy a full day at Las Galeras. Would definitely stay again if I were to return to Las Galeras!"

"Pro: Very well located. About 20 meters from the beach. The place and room were as advertised. The next door restaurants (both) are really nice and their owners make you feel like family. Con: breakfast wasn’t included (yet the listing said it was) and the parking facilities left much to be desired. "This is a real beach get away, there is not so much around but that adds to the tranquility of the area. If you need to just get away from the crowds and enjoy the coast this is a wonderful place. The jungle apartment also was incredible, we would spend an hour just watching the wildlife on the tree that runs through the building. Of course being in the jungle environment means jungle animals so be warned there will be some big looking spiders. "
