"We booked a very last minute stay here. The drive into hotel is lovely and from the outside a lot of character. Inside main hotel was modernly decorated and still had character. We had a room in the coach house which is in the next building to the hotel. The room was quite dated compared to main hotel. Good sized room. A little dusty in areas. Plenty room for clothes. "I travelled from Newcastle and stayed here for my birthday - we had only heard of the hotel on the YWP website when booking an experience. The hotel was really nice, really clean and the layout was really nice (like little pods before entering the hotel with little shops, bistros, restaurants etc made it feel like a holiday resort.) The reception was another pod, the staff were really lovely and they had a little essentials shop too which was a really nice touch for toothbrushes and other things...
