Stoped at The Owl for one night with my family and in overall it was very pleasant experience. We had a family room on the top floor and it was very quiet up there. Our room was spacious enough for four of us, beds very comfortable and level of cleanliness very satisfying. Check in and check out were very straightforward. Staff appeared to be very pleasant. We only had a breakfast at this hotel, which turned to be very nice. In overall this stay was a great value for money and very pleasant experience for me and my family.

We enjoyed our stay at The Owl.The hotel was very clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was very good, will definitely book there if we are wanting to stay in the vicinity again.

Stayed at the Owl a few times. Pub facilities are good. Rooms are basic, comfy bed, and adequate facilities. Tea and coffee tray in room. However on this visit there was a loose toilet seat and the radiator in the bedroom did not work. These were reported but not rectified during our stay.

Ideal location for surrounding areas such as York, Xscape and hour away from flamingo land. Friendly staff. Nice evening meals and breakfast. Room was hot and the fan did not work.
