"We had an amazing stay at this hotel and would really recommend it. The staff, especially Vicky, are warm and welcoming. They went above and beyond with making our stay memorable. My friend had an excellent spa experience and they were very accommodating. Vicky was able to make a special restaurant reservation for us at the last minute which was wonderful. The hotel feels like a guesthouse and the view of the sea and the penguins are incredible. We look forward to coming back. "

"Beautiful setting in a beautiful town! The hotel is within 20 min walk along shaded, quiet streets to excellent dining and shopping in the town center, right in the university district. The hotel staff are friendly and efficient and safely stored important documents that I’d left behind until we were back in the area a week later. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Hot water was copious - and hot! The pool is in a shady garden and a welcome spot to enjoy a glass of wine on a lounge...

"We stayed here for two nights on our honeymoon and it was lovely. Unfortunately we were hit with horrible food poisoning on the day we checked in (through no fault of the guesthouse!!) and had to cancel plans and stayed in our room most of the day. But the silver lining was that the room was very comfortable and helped us get through the worst of the food poisoning!! I highly recommend a 13 hour fever-induced sleep here. "Beautiful location, very friendly owners and a great breakfast. Our room was a family delux and had a handy little kitchen with oven, microwave, stove and kettle. Lots of little touches that made us feel welcome, like a selection of books and delicious fruit in the main area, that you can help yourself to. Also ice cubes and wine glasses if you need them for your drinks. "
