"Front desk staff were fantastic- welcoming and helpful providing early access to the room. The hotel is less than 10 years old, the room was very clean, comfortable and offered great amenities.. The bed, linens and pillows in particular, were very comfortable . The location is fantastic- in a very safe area with access to many restaurants, shops, areas of interest and within easy walking distance of both the Robben Island ferry as well as the cruise terminal. Would definitely stay here again."

"incredibly old hotel room - the carpeting definitely needs changing, there was only 1 usable power outlet, the shower drained very slowly and the AC unit made ruckus. the breakfast buffet was good, it's located next to lots of restaurants and the staff was friendly and polite."

"Right across street from Klok market which was exotic and delightful. Overall experience was wonderful- staff was courteous and kind. Due to market set up each morning (clanging of metal booths), be aware if you are seeking a place a to sleep late - or have ear plugs. I would very much stay here again!"

"We booked an overnight stay to coincide with our arrival from Johannesburg Lanseria airport and our departure to London Gatwick. What looked like a short walk from the airport to the hotel turned out to necessitate a taxi. Lack of planning on my part. I should have investigated the availability of a shuttle service provided by the hotel. I was made aware of the shuttle service on arrival at the hotel but I had already booked my return journey to the airport. I am not sure if the shuttle was...

"I sgayed in the sugar daddy suite and absolutely loved it! The hotel is beautiful and the toom was very spacious. When i checked in i was warmly greeted and the staff helped me bring my bags upstairs. They do have an elevator as well. The rooftop area was gorgeous and had great music playing in the evening. "Our overnight stay was comfortable with all the facilities needed for a stay before or after a flight. Dining was good in the evening with well presented food and an ambient atmosphere. "The “family” room we had was 2 bedrooms sharing 1 bathroom. They were small but perfect for what we needed. The location near the V&A waterfront was perfect. Breakfast was included in our stay and was excellent. "
