"The property was comfortable enough with friendly staff. Parking offered with electric security gate. Only wish the staff would advise noisy patrons to be cognisant of others by not making noise in the early hours of the morning when some of us are still resting (I struggle to sleep as is). Nothing as annoying as people screaming or talking loud or children crying non-stop at 3am or 4am in the morning. It's unacceptable!"

"Amazing place. The guest houses are within the actual vineyard. You feel connected to the vineyard and working farm. The staff is also amazing and friendly. Definitely try the pizza restaurant that is located on the property."

"The best place I have ever stayed and I travel all over the world. When I first walked in I felt right at home the Host was brilliant remarkable decor. He paid attention to the white in the office gas if I had a choice I would never leave and if I ever come back the cape town Mitchell guest house will be the first place to check in. He has this three amazing animals a big greedy(so bring extra bacon)but they're very friendly and lovable. If I could give it 20 stars I would because he deserves...

"Beware - The lodge is not serving its inclusive breakfast and doesn't compensate for its absence. The housekeeper was charming and efficient but the manager was elusive and hasn't responded to communications. We had just stayed at a guest house a few km to the north where we had a lovely daily breakfasts so unclear why DWWL couldn't provide what we had paid for. A voucher, or some Rand, to use at a local cafe would have been sufficient. "
