"Our family booked the accommodation for an extra special weekend…our daughter’s wedding at Old Forrest School. We were not disappointed when we turned up and saw the location and view. The house was clean and tidy and provided the perfect place to relax around a very busy but fabulous weekend. This was a weekend to remember and we hope to return soon for a weekend of sun, sea and relaxation. Pukehina will forever hold a place in our hearts."

"We loved staying at the Ngongotaha Cottage. Just a short 5min drive past the Skyline/Luge - it was still close to everything we needed, without being amongst the hustle and bustle. The owners gave us plenty of privacy, the spa pool was amazing and the cottage was so nicely presented. Great little cottage and we would easily book in again for all of our annual Rotorua visits for sports."

"Awesome in all respects. We were met by Rob, our host who walked us through the property. Absolutely everything you might need was available. The four of us were blown away by how our hosts went the extra mile to ensure our stay was super enjoyable and relaxing. "

"No cooktop, no freezer compartment to keep ice blocks cold. No top sheet on either single bed, light over bathroom sink does not work, windows were filthy inside and out, floor between toilet and wall was dirty, no hand towel or face cloth provided. Only wine glasses provided for drinks. Only one mirror in unit, none in bedrooms. We can’t believe this place meets even minimum standards for guest accommodations. Only one tea towel provided, hot plate had no instructions and only Chinese labels...

"We enjoyed our stay in this property once the check in issues were sorted out. Book-a-bach dropped the ball with check-in which took over 2hrs and was not complete until the next morning. Having said that, all the issues we encountered were not the fault of the house, so as long as Book-a-Bach sorts these, then I would highly recommend this home. It is a good size, even with just 2 bedrooms, we had 4 adults and 4 kids (sleeping in the lounge on the couches) and it didn't feel too small, AMAZING...

Tried to communicate prior to check in. No luck and no reply. Overall experience very disappointing. Scared to use Bookabach or Bachcare again."

"The 2 bedroom bach was perfect for me, my wife and a 2yo. We were greeted by the host on arrival and found they had left some of their own eggs and honey as a welcome gift! "Beautiful view of the lake taken in from the super comfy armchairs. Enjoyed swimming, paddleboarding and relaxing by the water. Lucky enough to see a plane landing, the airport is very close but really quiet and not a disturbance at all. Short drive into town with loads of shops nearby too."

Although annoying it was resolved by the friendly property managers.Then the power was cut. These things happen but in this case it was planned and the owner notified of it. I checked with neighbours and the line company. The owner ignored it and let us rent the property .We spend the day away but when we returned, power was still cut, No one could tell us how long it...
