Room was in need of some updating and repairs. Breakfast was very expensive and average. Thermal pools were a great addition, connected to an awesome gym. Hotel was just over the road from 'eat street' with heaps of dining options. Fabulous location.

We enjoyed are stay at the Novotel Rotorua. It has a great central location with many options for dining walking distance from the hotel. The breakfast buffet was great, as are the thermal hot baths and swimming pool!

Not cheap. Had what looked like a pubis hair a hotel towel. Stain on the pillow cover. Door did not bolt shut. Bed 2/10. No facial tissues provided. Bathroom flooded after shower. The location is good. Paris - the registration lady - was FANTASTIC! Bar/restaurant is nice. Free street parking. Cleanliness sub par. Hotel thermal spa teeming with kids. Would not recommend for adult couple seeking clean hotel.

I was expecting a lot more from Novotel, but was disappointed to see heavily stained carpets inside the hotel room, and not so great carpet in the hall walkways. Also they ran out of towels at the pool, and did not provide addl inspite of multiple requests (it could also be due to busy holiday season).
