"Neighbouring properties made us very nervous to start with. No issues though and enjoyed our stay. Made the booking through a different website. Charged us for an extra night. Tried to communicate prior to check in. No luck and no reply. Overall experience very disappointing. Scared to use Bookabach or Bachcare again."

"A beautiful presented little cottage, tucked away in a peaceful setting. We had such a lovely break away in a perfect location not too far away from the beautiful lakes and activities in Rotorua. The cottage had everything that we needed, was comfortable, clean, and had the added bonus of electric blankets for the cold wintery evenings. Thank you for a wonderful stay."

"We enjoyed our stay in this property once the check in issues were sorted out. Book-a-bach dropped the ball with check-in which took over 2hrs and was not complete until the next morning. Having said that, all the issues we encountered were not the fault of the house, so as long as Book-a-Bach sorts these, then I would highly recommend this home. It is a good size, even with just 2 bedrooms, we had 4 adults and 4 kids (sleeping in the lounge on the couches) and it didn't feel too small, AMAZING...

"We were three adults and a toddler that stayed in this property for three nights. The location the property is great, but it is very old and run down. The bathroom was terrible. It was clean to start with, but with no tap outside the clean sand off our shoes, sand easily tracked through the place and was difficult to clean from the house and bathroom. There was a smell of vomit around the kids room with the bunk beds. The midges are obviously not something anyone can control, but it made the...
