"We visit Embassy Suite Corpus Christi often. The staff is always kind and we always feel so safe. The breakfast is always amazing and now the nightly snacks are just as amazing. But that is not what I want to share. We were in town for a funeral. It was a very sad time for us; plus, we had been traveling all day. When I got to the front desk, Jason, the person at the front desk, informed us that the reservation was made for the week after. I was floored. Long story short, Jason worked with our agent to try and help us fix the date so that we could attend the funeral without disruption. It meant the world to us. A hotel with a heart. Thank you Jason! "The owner/management was great; super friendly and helpful. We loved the ocean view and the convenience of the location. We had a great stay; slept good. The only drawback is three flights of stairs, slanted walkway and no working elevator if you have vertigo and a baby like I do, heads up. "

"The lady that checked us in on the Sunday we arrived was just wonderful. Outstanding for a La Quinta: Clean, quiet, good and actively refilled breakfast WITH a wafflemaker, complementary fruity-water with donut holes or other snack daily all day in the lobby, well stocked purchasable necessities. Also, the front desk had fresh made cookies and brownies you could buy that were just too good. Microwave is in the bedroom along with a coffeemaker and an ice bucket, and a roomy fridge. The location itself is a bit aways at about 12-15min from North Beach, but it was not a deal breaker for me. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here, and regretted not staying longer! I must come back!"
