I ended up not staying here, for multiple reasons:
- Expedia incorrectly listed the property as having a mobility accessible room with a sofa bed and bed available. The room I was given had ONE bed and no sofa bed.
- when I brought this up with the staff, the attitude they gave me was discourteous and unhelpful. They implied that I was lying about needing a mobility accessible room when I asked to change to a room with 2 beds, and asked several times who needed this amenities. Then courtyard staff said Expedia needed out to resolve the issue of changing the room, as that was the only way getting a different room could happen. The attitude of the staff was unhelpful and their implying that I didn’t need a mobility accessible room at the front desk, in front of other guests, was unprofessional and unacceptable.
-when Expedia reached out courtyard to resolve the matter, courtyard staff refused to answer the phone. Expedia tried calling for several minutes, while I sat freezing in a room with one bed and a heater that did not work - the low temp for the night was 29F
- I eventually left the room and hotel, and was of there for less than an hour. I am thankful Expedia was able to secure a partial refund. The manner of the staff was horrible and something I have never encountered before. If when booking the room online, documentation is required proving why a mobility accessible room is needed, I happily would have done so online.
