"My husband and I stayed here for my birthday / Valentines Day. It was the perfect little cozy getaway from the moment we walked in the doors! Dinah had a fire going for us so it was already nice and warm, the cabin was super clean and looked just like the pictures if not better! Kitchen was stocked with utensils and cookware and made cooking our meals a breeze. No service but the WiFi was fast and easy to connect to. Absolutely zero complaints, we both loved it and will be coming back! "

"You can instantly tell how much work and love that was put into this lovely little cabin. We were looking for a weekend getaway and it couldn’t have gotten any better. You’ll have a good half hour drive to get anywhere but that suits us just fine. I can definitely see us coming back!"

"Just what we were looking for! Stayed at the cabin most of the weekend and just relaxed. Play board games, watched movies, enjoyed our family. Built a fire, played in the snow, just wonderful overall!"

"This is a private cabin that gives you your own section of Shavers Fork of the Cheat River. Very clean and well set up upon arrival. Nice deck out back facing the stream. Hot tub was at a good temperature for us. We would come back. Good central location to explore Monongahela Park. "

Timberline Mountain - 10 minutes from resort

"First time solo travel and I couldn’t have picked a better spot. Complex was clean and maintained. Easy self checkin and good communication with, updates from, property management. Cabins spaced out nicely, afforded privacy and quiet; and was cozy with all the essentials needed for my solitude stay. No issues with internet/tv inside of cabin. A short drive to town and grocery, with nearby beautiful places to visit and things to do. Would definitely stay here again."

"This place is very nice. Views from the windows facing the southern valley are spectacular. Loved the area and the neighboring towns of Davis and Thomas. The property is nicely secluded on a gravel mountain road just off a paved road that is not busy. The hiking in the area was great. My only complaint is the check in process which included an extra 10 minute drive to a realty office where I received not a key but the four digit code to the door. This could have been emailed in my opinion....

"Very nice cabin. Had everything we could want, and was extremely quiet and peaceful. Loved the hot-tub! Access to Dolly Sods was really nice too. I would definitely recommend it."

"We had the most wonderful weekend here! The location feels very remote, but that’s exactly what we were looking for. It was easy to get to Blackwater Falls, and other local must-see excursions. Dolly Sods was a bit further, but totally doable. The house was very clean, well stocked and the most comfortable beds! We highly recommend!!"

"Wonderful place to stay at. Loved the community feel even though wasn't expecting it. Also appreciated it was 15 minutes to nearest town, so great location to get around the area. Would definitely like to stay here again. Only thing i didn't like was all the additional fees at the point of checkout; would be better to just incorporate some of the fees into the actual nightly cost, but i think that's more of an application service issue and not the host,so why i didn't reduce stars."

"We enjoyed the many unique items throughout the home collected by the owner through their travels. The cabin was clean, well stocked, and very private with wonderful views. Communication was a little lacking, but there were no major issues. We would definitely stay again!"
