"The Lodge was spectacular and the staff friendly, professional, and helpful. Within hours of arrival, they knew our names. The room was large, private, clean and very comfortable with a large deck overlooking the rainforest, a huge bathroom and our own private hot tub. We did many activities through the lodge (hiking, yoga, night walk, bird watching tour) and the guides were excellent. The food was delicious and very fresh. Each dish was beautifully plated and generous. 5 stars!"

"We absolutely LOVED this precious B&B. So tranquil, amazing setting, gorgeous room, etc!! We got to see monkeys, a toucan, and a baby sloth. It was AMAZING! My only regret is we only booked it for one night, as we were heading to the Arenal Volcano. Next time we plan to stay several nights!!! LOVED this adorable Casitas!"

"What an amazing place! The rooms are open with big windows and lovely views and Mellisa has thought of everything to make the room amenable. Stove top, refrigerator, and lots of flat surfaces for luggage and bags. Great breakfast served to the room; it was the best! We really enjoyed our stay and wished we had booked another night. "This was our first night in Costa Rica. We picked to stay here to split the drive to la fortuna and to be able to stop at Rio Celeste. It’s close to Rio Celeste. The town itself seems abanded. The owner of this property is very sweet. The area is loud, close to the road and constantly hearing traffic. The cabin type room has a large portable fan which was great. Shower works well. Good stay for 1 night. "

"The location was perfect for seeing Rio Celeste and other rainforest tours. Everyone was really friendly and the food was great. Communication was somewhat interesting because I hadn’t brushed up on my Spanish enough but we made it work! The bed wasn’t super comfortable, shower didn’t get very hot and the walls weren’t exactly soundproof but for the price it was still a good value. I’d definitely stay here again!"

"This house and property were HUGE, with great views of the volcano and surrounding area, and had room for everyone in my large group! It was fun and quirky and just right. The breakfast was spectacular each morning. Patrick was the perfect host and helped us with terrific advice on activities and even made reservations for us. This house is definitely a "do-again!""
