"We came to town for the weekend Christmas festivities in Mystic. We wanted more space than a hotel room and this was perfect for the four of us (2 adults, 18 and 11 year old.) We loved having a water view and we love the trains! A nice touch was the coffee provided by the owners as they are also local coffee roasters. It is about a mile walk to town but we enjoyed it, even in the cold. Communication with the owners was quick and easy, too. We would definitely come back in the future. "

"We had never been to Stonington before. This place is adorable, clean, and the location is great. It's near the water (can see the water from inside) and is walking distance to great restaurants. "It was a GREAT location, one of only two hotels on Ocean Drive. the grounds were amazing. The building is falling apart a little, there is deferred maintenance, but the room was clean, the staff was Wonderful. we had a view of the ocean, the hot tub was hot, the coffee and breakfast muffins were great. It is what it is and there is SO much to see in Newport that you shouldnt be spending much time in the room. "

"For an artist who wanted a comfortable place to work and relax, this place was heavenly. The lighting was exceptional, the heating was easy to adjust, the bed was super cushy, the bathroom even had heated flooring! The kitchen was very adequately supplied and everything worked. One small issue with the downstairs TV was addressed by the staff who were super friendly and kind I cannot wait to return!"
