"Great location and decent building! Amina is such a nice host and a huge plus! She was accommodating and answered all our requests and questions promptly and solved issues in a timely manner. The only thing we would like to remind the other guest is that please bring lots and lots of bottled water since the tap water is slimy and you need bottle water for both cooking and drinking."

"We had such an amazing time at this house. It was extremely clean and had everything that we needed to have the perfect evening. The property is super nice and definitely took advantage of the gazebo overlooking the pond. The location is great and it is very close to both Hunter and Windham. We will definitely be coming back"

"We like to meet up with some friends from Maine about once a year near the halfway point between us. Ray's Chalet is a great place to chill out and relax with friends and family. "Really great property for our family of four (two young kids) and our late December trip to Hunter Mountain. The kids loved playing in the loft and we had ample space for all in the kitchen and family room. Incredibly easy ride to the mountain each morning. Property is also set back a bit from the road which makes it feel a bit more private. Would definitely stay again."

"We stayed here on a ski trip with friends. The property manager forgot to have the house cleaned before we came, and as a result the cleaners arrived when we arrived to check in. We wanted to eat dinner at the house but were forced to go out for dinner since it was not ready. The house was missing any blinds in 2 of the three main bedrooms (a big deal for parents with kids who wake up with the sun), and the tv did not work. "This home is a beautiful refuge. Lots of windows offer breathtaking views and colorful sunsets. The house is well-furnished and equipped. The owner was accessible and invested in our comfort in his home. Renters should understand, however, that the primary bedroom is in a loft, with no shades or drapes to cover the windows. If all that light/exposure would be a sleep issue for other renters, they should bring a good sleep mask. "

"Well-appointed VRBO that my family absolutely loved. Kids did not want to leave. Takes about 10 min to get to Windham when the weather is good, about 15 min in inclement weather. We had a four-wheel drive vehicle so had no issues with the driveway but with a normal car it could be tricky if it's snowing or icy. Highly recommended! "
