"the cabin is private once you are inside you face the woods but it is off route 32, if you use the hot tub you are facing woods which gives you privacy. I wanted a quiet weekend to celebrate my girlfriend's Bday which the cabin did suit that purpose otherwise not much to do in the local town of Cairo you blink you'll miss it. "We ended up not staying. The description says it is a cabin, it is an old manufactured home (mobile home). When we pulled in there was items scattered around the yard, the grass hadn’t been mowed. When we got to the first step the wood need to be replaced. There were holes in the soffit. Once inside the couches looked old and dingy. The inside needed to be spruced up. "This home is every bit as charming as the pictures! My 10 year old really enjoyed the basket of goodies, activities and coloring. My kids also enjoyed playing in the yard and the badminton set. The upstairs deck was perfect for relaxing and star gazing. The location is great with an easy walk into town for breakfast or dinner. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!"

"We stayed at this property during a fall getaway trip with three families. It’s a beautiful property- both inside and out - in a great location and with great amenities. There were so many fun games and things to do for the kids that they never wanted to leave! The golf pads outside were a huge hit, as was the huge lawn, air hockey, pool table, ping pong, fooseball,fire pits, and hot tub. "We had a great weekend staying at the Heartwood Lodge. the house was very comfortable and clean and was very spacious for four adults and four children with room to spare. The location was perfect for exploring Hunter Mountain and the surrounding areas. The host was super responsive and informative. We particularly enjoyed the fire pit outside as well as the big screen downstairs for March Madness."

"We had a perfect week long stay at the mountain view cabin. The interior of the cabin is exactly how it is described and shown in the pictures. "We really enjoyed our stay in Hunter. The house met our needs well for a large family gathering. The hot tub and game room were excellent. Beutiful inside.It is close to shopping and hiking trails in the area. We did a lot of cooking and could have used larger cutting boards and baking/roasting pans. Be aware that the house is right on the main road into Hunter. The pinball machine was frustrating at times because the ball would get stuck.Overall it was a great stay."
