"I booked the house for the Marji Gesick mountain bike race. I had five friends travel with me as a support crew. The house was excellent for our needs. Plenty of beds and 1.5 bathrooms. A well stocked and large kitchen and plenty of living space. Outdoors was a nice grill, screened in house on the lake and a canoe. I caught a pike right off the dock Friday! "Lovely, peaceful setting, very relaxing. Close to attractions in Munising. Comfortable. Must read owners' description very literally. I.e., ""stove top" means range top, no oven; "TV" means tv and VCR, no cable or broadcast access. (We did enjoy some of the old VHS and DVDs provided). Better directions to house would have helped especially after dark. We'd rent this location again."

"If you like the UP, nature and being on the lake, you will love this place. We enjoyed using the kayaks, row boat and paddle boat. Great location to explore the surrounding area. Noodles and blow up rafts are nice, a little weedy near shore. Clean and comfortable."

"Nicely stocked house! We had a nice stay for 3 nights. It isn't a perfect house. 1) The water is STINKY! To the point you don't want to shower or even turn on the hot water. 2) The house is 25 yards off of a highway with LOTS of transport trucks going by. If you are a light sleeper just know this. We closed the bedroom door and that helped but didn't eliminate the road noise. 3) The bed is rock hard! I've never been on a bed this firm! I'm 6'1" and about 195 and I don't think my body...
