"This is my second fall trip to the Turtle Cove property in Hiawatha National Forest. The house and property were excellent, clean, and ready when we get in the first evening. The location made for great adventures and the morning views of the fall colors were excellent as I sipped my coffee. I will look to stay at this property again on my next visit to the area."

I.e., ""stove top" means range top, no oven; "TV" means tv and VCR, no cable or broadcast access. (We did enjoy some of the old VHS and DVDs provided). Better directions to house would have helped especially after dark. We'd rent this location again."

"Overall it was a great stay. We thought the inside of the cabin was actually cuter in person. It was a little disappointing how close the neighbors were considering the remoteness of the property but it was fine. Our 2 dogs LOVED playing in the shallow bay. There were some broken items (outdoor chair, shower door, missing towel bar, etc.) but nothing we couldn't maneuver around. "This cabin was exactly what we wanted. Nestled inside the Hiawatha National Forest on the shores of beautiful Thunder Lake! The drive in is gorgeous!! "We arrived and were thrilled with the location. The house was immaculate and the grounds were great. The seven of us had a wonderful time just relaxing. We had a nice campfire the first night and some of us went kayaking later in our stay. A great time was had by our group and we would not hesitate to return. "Nick and Abbey did an amazing job renovating this home. It was amazing. Everything was super clean (brand new!) and house was well stocked.
