"Overall it was a great stay. We thought the inside of the cabin was actually cuter in person. It was a little disappointing how close the neighbors were considering the remoteness of the property but it was fine. Our 2 dogs LOVED playing in the shallow bay. There were some broken items (outdoor chair, shower door, missing towel bar, etc.) but nothing we couldn't maneuver around. "This is my second fall trip to the Turtle Cove property in Hiawatha National Forest. The house and property were excellent, clean, and ready when we get in the first evening. The location made for great adventures and the morning views of the fall colors were excellent as I sipped my coffee. I will look to stay at this property again on my next visit to the area."

"I can’t say enough about how wonderful this rental is. I am a clean and neat freak and this place is sparkling clean! They use the best cleaning products. Beds are so comfortable! Extremely spacious! We were up snowmobiling and it’s very close to the trails. The driveway is wide and very truck and trailer friendly! Highly recommend! We plan to book again to enjoy the lake in the summer! "

"Lovely, peaceful setting, very relaxing. Close to attractions in Munising. Comfortable. Must read owners' description very literally. I.e., ""stove top" means range top, no oven; "TV" means tv and VCR, no cable or broadcast access. (We did enjoy some of the old VHS and DVDs provided). Better directions to house would have helped especially after dark. We'd rent this location again."
