"Overall it was a great stay. We thought the inside of the cabin was actually cuter in person. It was a little disappointing how close the neighbors were considering the remoteness of the property but it was fine. Our 2 dogs LOVED playing in the shallow bay. There were some broken items (outdoor chair, shower door, missing towel bar, etc.) but nothing we couldn't maneuver around. "We rented this cabin for a 4 day weekend so we could quickly get to Escanaba for my 7 year old to play hockey. It was perfect for our family of 4. We also thought it would be cool to access Little Bay De Noc easily for ice fishing. It was absolutely perfect for this. We caught walleye and perch just out front on the 2nd reef. We would definitely stay again and will be recommending our friends with small family’s as well. "

"This cabin was exactly what we wanted. Nestled inside the Hiawatha National Forest on the shores of beautiful Thunder Lake! The drive in is gorgeous!!
