"This was a terrific stay. We all loved it. Suites were large and minimalist but very tasteful, exceptionally comfortable with all technical amenities and private onsen in each suite. I would describe this as a luxury and modern take on the traditional Japanese inn (inn was built in 2020). Inn is about 7 minutes drive from the hopping ski town of Hirafu. "I rated them excellent on everything, especially customer service thanks to a medical emergency. They helped out with immensely. The one area that was a little bit more challenging was the fact that it’s an older building and you have to expect some idiosyncrasies but was well maintained. The location and staff are what stand out most!"

"Hide (owner) is such a kind and compassionate person. On arrival he gave us fruit and there were many snacks provided in the rooms. Many of the other days he would give us more fruit and then a lovely gift when we left. Every day he was so helpful in removing all the snow from our vehicle before we left for the ski fields. Hide is what makes this hotel such a pleasant place to stay. Thanks Hide, we loved staying with you!"

"These are lovely people who are genuinely just nice people. They have run this pension for 40 years and its 3rd generation, all whom which still work their bar the Patriach Granfather whosed passed. The Matriach Grandma still works here at 92. Her daughter and husband run the place and do all the cleaning and cooking and daily chores along with their extremely helpful daughter.
