"This condo is just as advertised. It is in a beautiful spot with a view of Arenal volcano from the bedroom and a forest view from other rooms. There are windows everywhere but no other houses close enough that they could see into the unit. The air conditioner works well. It is not a newly renovated condo but was clean and comfortable. We didn't find it on the first try but the host was very responsive and helpful and got us there quickly."

"I felt compelled to write a review, because the host, Irma, was so exceptional. She knew that we were coming in without a car, being dropped off by Taxi, very late in the evening, and it will be difficult for us to get any food that evening and for breakfast the next morning. So she happily offered to go to the grocery store and buy some food for us and put it in the fridge. Wow. Also, each day we would get fresh eggs from her farm, and fresh baby tomatoes. So delicious. "This chalet is a hidden gem! The views are spectacular and the location is off the beaten path. You will have a chance to relax and unwind. Breakfast is brought to you in your unit and massages are available if desired. I’m so glad we had a chance to stay at HelveTico."

"We had so much fun here, and it was a wonderful place to come and relax after a day of activities. Very unique cabin, with porch right on the pond. Friendly ducks, dogs, and it was great hearing all of the different bird calls. Very close to restaurants and things, but felt remite and private. Comfortable bed. Only complaint was the small bathroom without much room to put things."

"My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights, and the property was excellent! The cabin was clean, with a beautiul view of this little aritificial pond that had ducks and fish in it. We were only a 5 minute drive from La Fortuna for groceries, and any time we communicated with Marco, we received a prompt response."

"This was quite a unique experience staying at Hotel Lomas. We enjoyed every aspect of it. The room itself was quite cozy and personal; you had your own front/back porch; the room was clean; the staff was very attentive. Breakfast was delicious each morning.
