"Opulent property in a great location. Room has some dated items (fax machine, printer) but overall lovely. Staff was exceptional. Concierge Danny was a gem helping us to secure tickets to Disney and was so patient working through challenges. Spa staff and spa experience was top tier. Great experience!"

"Beautifully designed hotel in a great location. Staff is super kind and helpful. Only down side is the breakfast which is charged about $40/p and is not at the level for Asia. The other hotel on the same group in Beijing (The PuXuan) offers a more complete and refined buffet in comparison. Outside of that, we highly recommend this hotel!"

"Nice boutique hotel in great location. Ray the concierge was fantastic, very helpful and friendly with good English. Excellent breakfast. Our room was very nice but the aircon wouldn’t drop below 22.5 which was a bit hot for a comfortable sleep in the heat of the summer and the water leaked from the shower into the toilet area making the floor very slippery. "

"Hotel is fine but albeit a bit dated I feel. Not a far walk to some malls and Bund/Nanjing Road. *Not sure if the bar Char is run by hotel but if it is they need a new manager as his attitude is terrible and is the reason I won’t stay again. He pretty much made it his mission to try not let us in bar, even though we were staying guests with friends and also a dinner reservation. He needs a attitude adjustment ASAP"
