Enrico & Simona were excellent hosts and we loved the cooking class they did for us and our 3 college students who learned to make pasta for the first time. The views are spectacular and it’s a perfect location for trips to the many surrounding towns and wineries. We’d love to come back in the summer and stay longer!"

"Villa Il Forte is the most incredible setting. It is an incredible historic and luxurious home while being comfortable, spacious and accommodating. Many different spaces to relax, connect and play. Paolo’s team were absolutely amazing. The chef Thomas is so talented while also being wonderfully personable and fun. The driver Fabrizio was so generous and thoughtful. His guides were knowledgeable and friendly. I have already booked it for next year! I can’t wait to go back! "

"We loved our stay at this authentic farmhouse ! The family was very , very warm and welcoming and attentive to our needs / questions. If you don’t have a car ( we didn’t ) you need transport and we had a driver / tour one day . We loved the home cooked meals by Barbara and the pre- stocked groceries. It is quite bare bones - don’t expect any paper towels , any extras at all , not even those you might expect past guests have left . There is literally nothing provided so you must purchase ....

"The villa was a beautiful home to send our our time in Tuscany, Italy. We enjoyed having our own bedrooms and baths. We had a special meal cooked by a local chef, Rachel. The kitchen worked well for the cooking, and for our breakfasts. The scenery was just breathtaking, and it is just as pictures in books looked like. We very much enjoyed our stay."

"The property was great as the views were breathtaking, the villa was quite spacious and comfortable. The only thing lacking was air conditioning in the kitchen and dining area. Nicole the chef was outstanding, engaging and lots of fun. She made the Villa Alfresco an experience to remember. Gerald, the custodian, was always willing to lend a helping hand and provided constant care on a daily basis to see if anything was lacking. The experience was beyond expectations. "This house was exactly what we wished for on our first visit to Italy for our 20th year anniversary! The views from the house and the back yard are extraordinary! The heated floors were a very comfortable feature. We didnt use the kitchen for very much cooking but it great for morning coffees and evening drinks and snacks. "This villa exceeded our expectations. It has ample room for a large family and was very neat and clean. The host was very attentive to all of our needs and very easy to communicate with. The location is just far enough away from Florence to give it a great Tuscan feel in the middle of a vineyard and olive orchard. I highly recommend this property. "
