"This is an excellent hotel. The room was comfortable and quiet. The breakfast is above par. There are standard items like freshly cooked scrambled eggs, pancakes or french toast, oatmeal etc. In addition each day they make something special in the kitchen to sample. The cooks are right there. The views from the rooftop are stellar and location is not far from the south end of the malecon."

"This casita is a beautiful retreat to enjoy La Paz! We stayed for two weeks. It was spotlessly clean. It's even prettier than the lovely pictures, with art from local artists and just a lovely feel. It's a very inviting place to relax after a day of exploring. The beds are very comfortable - as others have noted the smaller bed is a bit firmer but even our sensitive person was very comfortable.Check-in was flexible and friendly. The owner, Allison, lives on the same block, just across one of the walls around the property, so it's very easy to get help with anything. She gives great recommendations, such as the restaurant Xolo two doors down. We had a few maintenance needs (things that happen anywhere) and she was super prompt in getting everything resolved. She has a backup person that made everything seamless. The kitchen has everything you might need - again, all very clean. The little pool is maintained weekly.The location is in a residential area, so doesn't have the loudness and constant traffic of the Malecón. The street isn't an arterial but does have occasional trucks. I heard nothing at night with the AC on. It's a pleasant walk to the museums and great coffee (try Reyna la Casa) or the Malecón and great food around the Jardín Velasco, and it's an even quicker drive or cheap taxi ride. There really is a fruit and veggie stand across the street - so convenient and friendly. Also try local deli Firy Faina, on the walk to the whale museum.Thank you Allison!!"

"We loved our stay ! Communication was incredible with Angel!! It was very clean ,Staff helped us out when we had a small issue with a plugged toilet.The only thing we would recommend is the ability to get a change of towels , when you are there for a long stay.We enjoyed the spot very much and the pool was nicely heated.We would stay again and will definitely recommend.Gracias Leona &Dean"

"The staff was great. Alberto (el joven) was the best all around the whole week we were there! He is exceptionally attentive to our needs. Gave us recommendations and was always willing to lend a helping hand!! The bartender (older gentleman, can’t remember his name) was also great. Very friendly and attentive. The rooms were okay, nothing expectational. The staff was friendly and very helpful but Alberto (el joven) and the bartender took it over the top. We would stay there again. "

"Almost a mile from the boardwalk is a beautiful small hotel with 1 and 2 bedroom suites with a full kitchen.. I got my steps in every day walking to the western marina to enjoy the scuba diving with sea lions and whale sharks snorkeling. When I didn't feel like walking, ubers were just a few dollars US from anywhere in the city.. Planning on staying here again when I return. Absolutely wonderful!"

"Very clean. Large full breakfast. Good location a few blocks off of the Malecon. Heated in ground pool and secured parking area are additional pluses."
