"Almost a mile from the boardwalk is a beautiful small hotel with 1 and 2 bedroom suites with a full kitchen.. I got my steps in every day walking to the western marina to enjoy the scuba diving with sea lions and whale sharks snorkeling. When I didn't feel like walking, ubers were just a few dollars US from anywhere in the city.. Planning on staying here again when I return. Absolutely wonderful!"

"We enjoyed our stay at Pagana. As noted in other reviews the black paint in hallways and stairs along with low lighting is unusual. I took the stairs once and decided never again. The mattress is very firm. I enjoyed the hammock on the balcony along with the views. Both restaurants are fantastic. I would recommend Pagana offer some type of literature or information on hotel services such as how to call for room service, book a reservation at either restaurant or contact the front desk. Thanks"

"The staff was great. Alberto (el joven) was the best all around the whole week we were there! He is exceptionally attentive to our needs. Gave us recommendations and was always willing to lend a helping hand!! The bartender (older gentleman, can’t remember his name) was also great. Very friendly and attentive. The rooms were okay, nothing expectational. The staff was friendly and very helpful but Alberto (el joven) and the bartender took it over the top. We would stay there again. "
