"We went up to explore the state parks and NRG national Park for my daughter's fall break week. The cabin made for a perfect, warm and dry spot to rest and recharge in the evenings. Everything was as it should be in terms of cleanliness, the kitchen had a better variety of pots/pans/utensils than many bigger STVRs we've stayed at. Overall, we very much enjoyed the stay and will keep this house in mind for future trips to WV."

"The house was very nice, roomy, and well maintained. The road leading in is narrow (which is expected for mountain roads), but the drive had plenty of parking. We throughly enjoyed watching the deer every morning and evening. Even though the trail head is farther than advertised (13 miles instead of 3 miles), the drive via SxS was very nice. Thank you for a wonderful stay and we hope to see y’all again. "

"We had the best time staying here. We wanted to get away for peace and quiet and this was the best place for it. The house is well appointed, Hannah was the absolute best host the house, grounds and creek were breathtaking. I cannot say enough good things about our experience. "Our 4 night stay was wonderful, the inside has been recently renovated albeit it looks like some work is still being done in certain areas. It certainly did not deter from the overall experience and the owners have done a great job with the improvements thus far. The kitchen is amazing for cooking and entertaining. The house has an in-line water heater which was nice! The location is 45 minutes from Winterplace ski resort and about a 15 min car ride to most retail restaurant establishments. ...

"We loved Four Fillies! The property was kept up very well and was so beautiful. I loved the sound of the creek. We travelled back and forth from Blacksburg which was a bit of a trek (45 minutes) but was a fairly easy drive. it was so worth it!"

"Wonderful cabin for one or two! It was clean, well organized and neat. The bed is comfortable. Heating/AC worked well. It is in a very remote location a few miles off the four line highway, down a narrow, dark paved road, and then onto a narrow, dark unpaved road for the last 1/8 mile or so. It’s a very quiet area. Couple minor issues—the light bulbs in the ceiling fan in the living room did not work, but the fan itself worked. And all the lights and power in the bedroom stopped working...
