"My wife and I stayed at South Beach Residence for a week. We wanted a quiet place to stay that was away from the touristy areas, which is exactly what we got staying here. The hotel is close to Ling & Son's grocery store, maybe a 5 minute walk. You'll have to get used to not having sidewalks if you want to walk (we did multiple times without any issue) but it is an adjustment if you're used to more formal sidewalks and crosswalks. "Rino is Amazing! He picked us up at the airport and took us back. He gave us a tour of the island and took us to a local parade. His place is Cute and has everything you need. It’s 15 min. walking distance to a Nice Beach and to the bus stop. You can take the bus to anywhere on the island or pay Rino to take you for a small fee. We Loved our stay."

"This modest apartment is well situated and in a quiet neighborhood (some issue with the dogs barking but it didn’t cause any problems). It’s about a 5 minute walk to the beach and close to the “strip” where all the restaurants and boutiques are. It has the basic necessities of an apartment and Marlon was very helpful and welcoming. Aruba is a VERY expensive island. (For ex: it costs $40US to rent a beach umbrella for the day and $10 per chair! Grocery stores nearby are also very expensive)....
