"WHATEVER YOU DO. DO NOT STAY HERE. I REPEAT DO NOT STAY HERE. THE FOOD IS OLD, STALE, HORRIBLE, I ASKED FOR CLEAN TOWELS AND THE OWNER AND I GOT INTO A SHOUTING MATCH. HE EVEN TOLD ME GO BACK TO AMERICA. WE CHECKED OUT AN ENTIRE DAY EARLIER AND WAS CHARGED A 25$ US CANCELLATION FEE. FOR WHAT??? Only God knows. STAY AWAY FROM THERE. ITS DESERTED, NOTHING TO DO AND NOT AS DESCRIBED AS IN THE PUCTURES ON THE WEBSITE."

"We loved our time at Portasal Living. The villa was amazing, with lots of space and the pool was amazing for a dip every day.. From seeing toucans and parrots right before us to the amazing dinner by our private chef Desiree, it was such a great time. Heriberto was great in getting our tour and trip tickets for all the sights. They even greeted us with a Bottle of wine for our anniversary. "I enjoyed being in the rain forest with very few other people around, the pool was small but very nice and refreshing. The breakfasts and staff were amazing, especially Diego. On the downside the road in was 2 km and rough, the last 200 yards really is meant for 4WD. The Wi-fi never worked. There is no AC, most nights were ok, some were too hot."
