Hostel Manuel Antonio

2.0 star property
7.2 out of 10, Good, (32)
"This establishment should not be able to operate. The condition of the place is very bad: there was no water, the toilet is broken, the shower wires were exposed, there was a whole in the wall next to the bed and all of this happens at the best room they have available, normally at 40 USD per night. This place has not been properly maintained in years. I left the place as soon as I could."

Ukinca Hostel

2.0 star property
8.0 out of 10, Very Good, (16)
"When we arrived, the staff did not seem to know of our booking and we had to show the confirmation email from hotels.com to evidence the booking. Then they showed us to three different rooms, the first two not being at all what we’d booked so we rejected them - the third was closest so by this point we just took the room. Then they weren’t sure how much to charge us so again we had to refer to the confirmation email. None of this was particularly disappointing, but it was a little unnerving to...

Casa Sea Breeze- Luxury OceanView Estate+50' Infinity Pool on 100 Acres

10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (162)
"The property was everything I hoped it to be. Private, secluded, in the rain forest, infinity pool, ocean view, sunset view, a/c, kitchen, good internet, quiet, comfortable, laundry, beautiful. I would definitely return to this property and recommend to others. The owner reached out promptly with great information I wish I knew before I booked a rental car. On Whats App the property manager Will answered all questions prior to our stay so we could pack properly, sent information on tours, even...

Luxe Coastal Home, Clear 180º Ocean Views, Concierge, Fiber Optic Internet

9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (122)
"We (4 adults in our 60s) loved our stay at this very secluded and architecturally elegant place with a huge view across the jungle to the sea. Pool was a perfect temperature and delightful, and separate bedroom wings provide extra privacy. Birding from the private bedroom baconies was fantastic (toucans, tanagers, etc.) Road leading to the house was implausibly rutted and steep but just barely manageable. Overall, a total delight to stay here."
