"The motel was in a very convenient position for us. The staff were very attentive and polite. They helped us stay for an extra night when requested in the same unit. The motel is an old one but the kitchen and bathroom facilities have been nicely modernised. The structure is showing its age and some attention to doors and windows is needed but overall it is reasonable value for money."

"We loved our stay. Very friendly welcome on arrival. Moana Lodge is well looked after and bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, dining area and lounge are all super clean/tidy ..... feels a bit like home. Our family room looked straight across to the beach/ocean, amazing view. We were lulled to sleep by the faint sound of the waves. Excellent value for money. "The colour on the outside was certainly unique! Not sure if I liked it or not! It did make it very easy to see from the road. Really enjoyed it here. Would definately recommend. So close to all amenities."

"We really liked the front desk woman she was wonderful ,however they had run out of milk and were going to get us some but none arrived ,to be fair we were only there for one night so not a big deal . The property is in dire need of some ongoing maintenance ,ie walls where fixtures have been moved have holes in , carpet and mats ragged in places ,entry doors and windows to rooms have not been cleaned since goodness’s knows when ."
