"This was a great location and very walkable and close to public transportation. The hotel is kind of pretentious and attracts a young crowd. (We are older, but still fun) We stayed in the what I assume was the original hotel with easy exit to a back street. Our room was really very small and with no view to speak of. "I chose to pay a premium to stay here because of the pool and hot tub, but sadly the pool area was a bit gross - grubby, slightly murky water and the hot tub was "temporarily" out of action for repair, but looked like it had been in that state for a while with a missing tile and filthy inside. I only swam once in a 2 night stay where i normally would swim twice a day. The room was good, bed was a bit hot due to the latex mattress. Shower was just OK. Great location but not worth the extra 30%...

"Despite what others say about this property we did not have a negative experience. The staff were kind, they allowed us to check in early. Our room was tidy, the shower was nice. Only issue we faced was no windows. The beds were presented nicely and comfortable. The sink was clean. All around a nice cheap hotel."

"Our stay at the Hilton was good. Rooms were spacious and staff helpful. It was a little bizarre, though, that the Hotel couldn’t match a third party rate. I had to sit in the lobby, make the booking in Expedia and then they could check me in. Overall a pleasant stay"
