"It was a lovely and quiet stay whilst we visited family for Christmas. The bed was so comfortable and is one of the few places that has a super king bed and affordable prices. Also, the shower is HEAVENLY! We also enjoyed the diner! Super friendly staff!"

"This was our first time staying in a Mercure. The location was ideal for us, close to the centre but not too busy and more reasonable price. The lounge and bar downstairs was lovely. Nice Christmas decorations too. Check in was easy and efficient. Room was great, very clean, everything we needed. The layout, tv and bathroom felt more modern and slightly more high end compared to a Premier Inn. We will definitely stay at a Mercure again!"

"Previously stayed here and it’s on our ‘go to’ list for when we need to be in the area for work or visiting friends and family who live in the area and stretching down to Highbridge, so it’s convenient being next to the M5. As always, warm welcome from reception, hotel looks and smells fresh and clean, hotel room clean and some deep cleaning over a quiet period would bring it to sparkling. Bed lovely and firm, bedding crisp and good quality and good pillows. The service area is behind the hotel with Waitrose, Burger King, KFC and WH Smith plus Starbucks. Handy to pop to on the odd occasion. Not a luxury ‘away’ break but a very comfortable and pleasant ‘need to’ break. We opt for room 31 where possible as it has an easy accessible bath and space to move around the bed ……. Helps with my mobility issues; which are not severe but it makes things pleasant for me. Will be staying here again in future without doubt. "
