"Cottage is well appointed and very cute. Clean except for seeing bugs and evidence of bugs. Saw 4-5 but this is Florida. Porch is outdated but adequate. Host communicated well in beginning but waited for several replies. Was granted an early check in but when we got there there the cleaner was still there. She had an emergency and not sure host communicated about early check in. Nice place and would stay again. "

"I booked this property to evacuate hurricane Milton. I drove 3 1/2 hours to property and when I got there my code didn’t work. I called the property manager and after 3 phone calls and his full voicemail, he finally called me and told me my reservation was cancelled!! I was furious and couldn’t believe that evolve travel never notified me. "We love SurfCrest Village and have stayed in this community several times throughout the years. This house is nicely situated so close to the beach you can hear the waves from the porch. The house is comfortable and we especially enjoyed the huge California King bed in the master. The listing makes it clear that the hosts provide only a starter kit of household goods and please be advised that is 100% accurate! (1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom, 1 trashbag for kitchen etc) so be prepared to...

"My elderly parents were coming to Jacksonville for my grandsons wedding and needed a place to stay that would accommodate my moms physical limitations. The cottage was beautifully decorated and easy to maneuver through with a walker. The bathroom had a walk in shower. Location was quiet, safe and close to all JAX beach has to offer. "The property was very clean and equipped with the basics in the kitchen. Beds and pillows comfortable, woke up feeling good each morning, plenty of towels in the bathroom. Very close to downtown. "The cottage is decorated very nicely. However when we arrived there was a dead tree branch in the driveway, and no WiFi. We contacted the contact person and they said they would contact the owner about these issues, but nothing was done. We figured out a fuse had blown and flipped it ourselves. Beds are comfortable and had everything we needed in the kitchen. "
