"Great house with great views of the lake! It does get very hot in the summer, and like most Tahoe homes there is not central AC. The only downside with this home was that many of the windows open up at the bottom rather then from the top, which made us concerned about our dogs staying with us."

"We had a wonderful stay at the Lodepole Lair in Tahoe City! It is in a great location… walking distance to restaurants, grocery store, beach, ski resorts, and everything else Tahoe City has to offer. The home itself is beautiful. The photos in the listing do not even do it justice. Our teenage son loved the loft. The beds are comfy. The kitchen is super cute and functional. Everything about this home is wonderful!We would love to stay here again on future visits! "

"The property met all our expectations. It was challenging getting to the property because of a severe snow storm, but once we arrived everything was as advertised.The amenities were excellant with 3 fireplaces, a pool table, hot tub, steam room & dry sauna. We had plenty of dishes & cooking utensils.The house was very clean with lots of linens and towels.We were surprised when the property management showed up 1st thing after the storm stopped & shoveled the driveway.We would definitely consider...

"We loved our time at this Tahoe City home. The host was super helpful and responsive, and even accommodated early check in/late check out for us. It was just the right amount of space for 2 young families with kids, had an amazing view of the lake and was close to ski mountains. All in all a great stay. My only note for potential renters in the winter is that the driveway is steep and can get icy. Definitely took some management and were glad we had 4WD cars."

"Comfortable, clean and cozy. My family and our dogs enjoyed our stat and will try to book a stay in the summer as well to enjoy the swimming pool. The hot tub was great after a day on the slopes. Just know that the pool is indoor but in a non insulated pool room so it’s way too cold for a dip. A very pleasant stay with comfortable spaces and a well stocked kitchen. Thanks again!"

"Beautiful home. Thank you for our stay. If I’m being critical. For what we paid and other families, the home could have been stocked better. We did make our own dinner, the home had no basic ingredients such as salt and pepper. The toilet paper was super cheap and the bedroom tv can be upgraded, the dvd player is literally hanging by wires. Overall the home was very nice and pleasant and we enjoyed our stay. Thank you. "

"This is such as nice, clean little cabin/house that fit our two small families perfectly! We enjoyed the back deck for dinner which had plenty of seating options. My only “complaint” is that the front door did not have any latch or lock from the inside so it got tricky with a toddler trying to escape. Other than the door issue, this is a wonderful place to stay!"

"The house worked well for a family ski vacation. Hot tub was very nice. To improve, I would suggest providing some firewood for guests, upgrading the mattress in the downstairs bedroom, and a full roll of paper towels. "
