"I general we enjoyed our stay very much. House is well maintained, and area is gorgeous. Couple things we didn't like:1. Guests required to remove all linens after stay. It seems like prior guests didn't do it, and linen wasn't clean in one bedroom. We had to wash it and make bed ourselves.2. Check-out time is 10 am. "We’ve been renting cabins in the Arnold area for nearly 20 years. This has been our best find yet!The cabin is absolutely perfect. The Christmas decor was a very pleasant surprise. Kids loved the bunk beds and the loft. There are plenty of games available, snow toys, and everything else you might need. The location is beautiful, the deck in the back gorgeous and the super tall swing was the cherry on top. We would love to come back. "

"Our family had a wonderful stay at the Lakehouse - spacious, warm, clean and light, beautiful scenery (lake, vineyards, horses). Kitchen was well-stocked with dishes, utensils, small appliances, and cooking gear, as well as basic kitchen needs (oil and spices, foil, etc.). We loved the great room, movie night, walks on the property. Tim and staff were quick and attentive to a request for help in re-setting the TV/cable/internet box. Fairly quick drive into Placerville for supplies, wine tasting....
