"We live in the South Bay and went up to Pollock Pines for a relaxing long weekend. We loved this cabin! Very clean and well appointed. It was situated in a wonderful neighborhood with easy access to the main road and Highway 50, so we were able to do day trips to Auburn, Coloma and Placerville. Phil was a very responsive host and shared some good hiking tips with us. We want to try and go back for another stay in this little oasis in the pines. "

"We all enjoyed the property. The directions needed updating. The property is very long so the gps pinned it at the top of the mountain instead of at the cabin. The access to the river was a big hit with us."

"Overall it was a nice getaway for the weekend. The hot tub was great. The amenities were nice. Luckily there's 2 bathrooms . We couldnt get the hot water to work in the master so we used the secondary bathroom. We notified the owner, they said it does work. So not sure what was wrong. Another thing that was concerning, when we walked up to check in, we saw a notice from code enforcement discouraging renters from staying there until the property was up to code.
