"Unique rustic property decorated for Halloween. Little contact with the hosts, but they were friendly and more than accommodating. Breakfast was served to our room promptly at 9am our first morning and was yummy. They made us a "to-go" breakfast for the second morning because we had to leave before the 9am serving time. Firm, comfortable beds. We were not advised about the stairs and vintage, uneven pathway to get to the entrance; my 87 year old mother needed assistance to manage those....

"This property is beautiful and well-maintained. Just lovely throughout, and the grounds are wonderful. We saw deer wander through, a resident peacock (but never heard him!), a gorgeous red-shouldered hawk all from our balcony. Each morning at 9:00 they leave a basket outside your door with a lovely breakfast - VERY nice! The only suggestions I might have would be replacing some of the antique/vintage furniture (Buena Vista Suite) with more practical/comfortable items. A nice ruby red love seat...

"The hotel is lovely. Dinner was great, sat on the balcony after dinner watching the stars. Breakfast was ample and tasty. The ambiance is lovely and I definitely plan to go back in spring. Save your online maps as cell reception is limited but the hotel WiFi is great. "

"Bed and Berries is a great place for families visiting the region. It was our first trip to the area and Sheri met us with her signature chocolate strawberries and lots of suggestions on which wineries are best and places to eat. Everyday a new sweet treat welcomed us from our day trips. Pool was a must in the afternoons as it was unusually hot. We highly recommend."

It was so wonderful to be in a large kitchen and sitting around a long table, plenty of room for everyone. 2 living room areas, a deck, plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms.
