"This place literally stinks! The lobby smells bad, the hallway to the rooms looks like it hasn't been vacuumed in weeks. The room smelled to strongly of air freshener, what are they covering up? There are badly patched holes in the walls and the towel bar in the bathroom was falling off the wall. An absolute dump!"

"It was a GREAT location, one of only two hotels on Ocean Drive. the grounds were amazing. The building is falling apart a little, there is deferred maintenance, but the room was clean, the staff was Wonderful. we had a view of the ocean, the hot tub was hot, the coffee and breakfast muffins were great. It is what it is and there is SO much to see in Newport that you shouldnt be spending much time in the room. "
