"The layout of the hotel is odd because it's shared with a restaurant annd access is through a dark and narrow alley. There is no one on duty 24/7 so don't expect a rescue in an emergency such as accidentally locking yourself out of your room or the hotel after hours. My room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. Good value for money considering the very central location."

"I was not expecting a code-style reception at "A Flemish Tale. To me, an in-person reception check-in is essential for a traveler overseas like me. Thankfully, I was waiting downstairs at least 2 hours before my "check-in time" at 3:00 p.m., so that I was able to meet, totally by chance, the lady in charge at the entrance. But for this, I would not have been able to get my access code. Imagine how scary it was! "

"A very private oasis right in the heart of the old town. Our room was out the back through a garden offering a beautiful private area to relax outside on a nice day. The inside had three levels the entrance and table, step down into the bedroom and bathroom or up the stairs into the lounge and large hot tub. The bed was excellent and comfortable and the split system air conditioner kept the place nice and comfortable. You walk out through the garden and the main building and you are literally...

"La Cle is a delightful guest house. Lovely renovation of an older building, retaining rustic elements in an otherwise modern room. Great bathroom/shower. Very friendly host. Close to many good sights and restaurants."

"This is a residential area. I didnt see any shops or places to eat nearby. However very close to train station. You need to check in with an emailed code. Room was fine and large. A very nice breakfast was included at the sister hotel a few doors down which was really good. Overall recommended but my big tip is dont expect nearby shops or places to eat. Is nice and quiet area. "

"Im Atlas-Guesthouse hat es uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Ferienwohnung hat eine tolle Lage in einem schönen Wohnviertel. Die zum Haus gehörenden Fahrräder waren sehr praktisch. Sehr netter Gastgeber mit excellenten Deutschkenntnissen. Schön war auch das Bücherregal mit vielen interessanten Titeln im Wohnzimmer. Ein ingsgesamt sehr gelungener Brügge-Besuch im Frühjahr!"

The room was clean and spacious, breakfast in the dining area was nice with some locally sourced ingredients and the hosts were helpful giving us tips what to see, offering us to use the kitchen fridge if we needed it etc. We used the Park and Ride car park in the city which has a free regular bus to the centre and the car park itself is well priced. "We stayed 1 night here for our trip to Ghent, myself and my two adult sons. The two rooms are very spacious and well appointed. The location is great, in a neighborhood with good restaurants and shops, but an easy walk to the square/tourist areas. We enjoyed the downstairs "honor bar", very convenient.
