I highly recommend this hotel. The quality for money is excellent. I loved the authentic feel of this hotel- nothing about it was "cookie-cutter", The rooms were traditionally appointed in their decor yet all of the modern amenities were provided. The beds and linens were comfortable. The view of the canal was an added bonus and the adorable city center of Bruges was mere minutes away.

Wonderfully located property within easy walk to the historic centre. Staff helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was great. Good size room for three people which was clean but perhaps decor and fixtures could be updated. Bed mattress and pillows could be firmer for our liking. Overall loved our stay.

The view from the room was lovely. The breakfast was delicious .The location was stunning. The part of town straight out of a picture book. The staff were not very friendly and with the exception of the manager Ellen, who genuinely tried to help, were in fact inappropriate, condescending and difficult to deal with. There was difficulty and unhelpfulness from the off, ie upon our arrival. Also I could not believe it when on the morning of check out , I was given an answer which contradicted the printed material about check out. Whilst the staff did try, we felt uncomfortable mainly from the reception staff.

Lovely Hotel. Our standard room was a bit small but for 3 nights was perfectly adequate. The bathroom needed a bit of minor decoration but it was clean and everything worked. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

We really loved this hotel, and our whole experience in Bruges. Our room was simply wonderful, with a big, deep bed and a wide window that overlooked the canal. The afternoon when it began raining lightly while we were walking around and we returned to nap and watch the rain from our window will be my favorite memory from our trip, I believe. The staff were perfect as well.

This charming property is really special. The building is precious with old world charm. The beautiful garden is a quiet respite from the hustle and bustle of the nearby square. The staff are efficient and kind. The only problem I encountered was using all the hot chocolate which they happily restocked for me. I loved my stay!!

We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Ter Brughe. It is in a quiet area but still close to the center. Our room had a canal view. We chose a room on the 3rd floor, which was fine for us, but there is no elevator, so anyone with issues with stairs should request a lower floor.

My wife and I ( both in our 70's) stayed there for four nights, and it was a wonderful experience. This is a fabulous hotel. Located on a canal, it is far away from the central part of the historic district to avoid noise and crowds, but still in easy walking distance. The staff immediately respond to every request, and also are very helpful with restaurant suggestions. When I had trouble with the thermostat, one left the desk immediately, and came upstairs and fixed the problem. I did not not elect to get the full breakfast, but did find some excellent bakeries nearby for a lighter breakfast.
