"Stayed for 1 night before going to France. We were lucky to get upgraded. Only comment on the room was that we couldn’t get a cold shower but appreciate that’s not everyone’s requirement! We didn’t eat at the hotel because the lighting in the Coast restaurant was too bright and the lighting in the bar area was a bit dingy. It’s a shame these were unappealing because the rest of the hotel is nicely appointed. There are plenty of places to eat in easy walking distance of the hotel."

Dog welcome in rooms for a reasonable supplement (with extras provided for it too: bowl and welcome kit) and in the pub. Will come back! "

"This hotel is gorgeous! Food was delicious! Highly recommend. We had been traveling for 3 weeks in the UK and France. This was the only hotel to provide luggage racks! And not just one, but two! As a senior, having to sit on the floor to locate things in my suitcase each day is not easy. This simple addition was much appreciated. Finally, a facecloth! Two would have been better for two people but I was happy to have one at all. I don’t understand why they are considered a personal item in Europe. Having to travel with a wet facecloth is quite inconvenient and rather ridiculous to this Canadian. So this too, was a very appreciated item. "
