"Amazing property where every room has an ocean view, private beach with awesome staff bringing drinks and snacks right to you. Clean rooms, comfy beds, decent buffet and really good restaurants. Bathrooms were clean but dated. Some menu items excluded from the all inclusive plan, was surprised by that but no biggie to buy them if you want. I would definitely return and recommend this resort for couples or families. "

"Staff was so attentive and helpful (despite our lack of local language skills). Our room was clean and comfortable. The view from our room was incredible! The manager was accommodating when we asked for a late check out due to a late flight on our check out day. All in all, should we visit Ixtapa again, we would like to stay here!!!"

"We had the best time staying in Emporio Ixtapa. The staff were very kind, helpful and attentive. The atmosphere was fun with live music in the lobby pretty much every night. I would recommend staying on the upper levels if you don't want to hear it super loud. We had an ocean view room which offered an incredible experience of getting the light as the sun rose. Being able to walk right down to the beach was a plus. My mom is in a wheelchair and her accessibility to most everything was also a plus."

"This was our second visit to Aura Del Mar; the first visit was when it was named Brisas Del Mar in 2010. This property has kept all the charm that we feel in love with back in 2010 and has made some incredible additions since. The pool deck over looking the ocean was peaceful and gave you a beautiful 360• view. The landscaping is gorgeous and tended to. The onsite spa has been updated and is lovely. Coffee machines in every room with fresh ground coffee provided. Turn down service at night. Cold A/C Friendly staff Abel is on the top deck serving happy hour and a gorgeous view of the sunset. The beach / pool towels they provide are adorable. This hotel is a gem. "
