"A MUST experience. Staying in the treehouse is unique without giving up comfort, the surrounding area is lush and filled with wildlife, the restaurant serves good food. Doing the afternoon tour with Victor was great, especially his knowledge of plants, animals, birds and love of gardening for the restaurant."

"If you're interested in sustainability, the environment and being in the wilderness, this is an amazing place to be. The farm tour was incredible. The area it's in is absolute heaven, surrounded by rainforest and rivers and on the edge of a lake under a volcano. The bird life is astounding and the activities and tours available are great. The room I was in was very small, but perfect for 1 person. 2 would people would have been cosy. But it has a gorgeous little terrace out the front and back...

"We had a wonderful time. The grounds are beautiful. We saw monkeys lots of birds and other wildlife right from our window. The staff is incredibly nice and helpful. The restaurant is cute and offers good food at a reasonable price. We had lots of rain while there and it does creep into the casitas. Our towels never really dried and the bed felt clammy too. So be aware of this and decide if that works for you before booking. The kitchen is also only sparsely equipped. It would've been nice to...

"We loved the outback country rainforest feel of this property. About a 30 minute scenic drive into La Fortuna, but close places to buy meals or groceries. Home cooked made to order breakfast was included and delicious. Family owned business and great customer service."

"The property is beautiful and true farm to table dining but therefore a limited menu. The private cassitas are lovely and spacious with a large bathroom and private patio. However the bed creaked getting in and out and whenever you moved and the mattress was so hard I barely slept. The hot tub was too scalding hot to actually enjoy but the setup was stunning. "

"Beautiful property in a large forest land. We did self tour of the property during the day andbit was nice. Separate, spread out log cabins. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. We saw a variety of birds hang out by the breakfast area. Three tucans flew by to hang out at a tree top. Issues: 1. the cabins have metal roof for the property that is in the rain forest. "Our family of 5 enjoyed our 3 night stay here. The raging river so close to our balcony was impressive after a few days of heavy rain. Beds were comfortable, kitchen well equipped and we had plenty of space for 5. A couple of minor issues being advertised washer/dryer was actually a paid laundry service and pillow menu did not exist when requested although advertised. "

Excellent once again!

"This was my 5th time staying at this resort and I can't imagine a better hotel for the money. This trip I brought 10 other friends along and they all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The updated rooms are large and comfortable. The views spectacular. We ate at the main restaurant and bar multiple times and the food was always good for the money. The multiple hot spring pools are a perfect way to end an adventurous day in the rain forest. "

"Beautiful property, very helpful staff, the food was delicious and everything was very clean. We had a room with a private pool (not heated) which was great to have such a large private patio space when we wanted downtime. Our 2 kids loved the warm pools and the housekeepers leaving them little treats in the afternoon. The hotel doesn’t cater to families or young kids but it was still an excellent place if you do have kids. It was a short walk to everything we needed while we were on the resort but we had a car rental as we were exploring the area daily that we parked right outside our Chato. There isn’t a gym available, but the resort is lovely for a run. It was so easy to communicate with the staff in WhatsApp I ask questions and order room service. We ordered room service a couple nights, which was delicious. Our favourite was the poke bowl. The breakfast buffet was perfect every morning before we started our day. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!"
