Their mountain location is far more comfortable than La Fortuna with cooler temperatures, yet still 30 minutes from everything in the Arenal/La Fortuna areas. You can fly into either airport. "We had so much fun here, and it was a wonderful place to come and relax after a day of activities. Very unique cabin, with porch right on the pond. Friendly ducks, dogs, and it was great hearing all of the different bird calls. Very close to restaurants and things, but felt remite and private. Comfortable bed. Only complaint was the small bathroom without much room to put things."

"We enjoyed a short stay at this home. Its in the perfect location for rural experience of Costa Rica, but close enough to jump over to La Fortunas tourist trap. We watched the parrots (yellow naped and toucans) play and eat every morning with the volcano backdrop. We also got to see a pizote on our ride into La Fortuna.
