Hotel Villa Bahia
4.0 star property
9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (165)
"We highly recommend this hotel. We received such a warm welcome on arrival; the staff even helped us take our luggage up to our room. The breakfast area downstairs was beautiful and scenic, partially indoors and outside and the lady and guy that served us each day were so very friendly and helpful. When we saw our room for the first time we were in awe; there was a small entry hall (lounge/ tv room) which led into the large bedroom with plenty of storage, with a large bathroom and shower and...

"The hotel was really nice and is central to the location. During the day it’s ok to walk around but one needs to be careful of the surroundings but the old town is a fun place to go around. At night it’s not a good idea to walk just take Uber. The staff was super friendly and it’s a great place to stay to explore Salvador "

"Staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good and extensive. The rooms were cleaned thoroughly every day. We were well received by the reception. Claudio in particular, was always helpful, always ready to answer our questions. He was well informed about what there was to do in Pelourinho and the surrounding area. And as a guide he took us around to various sights and could tell us a lot about them. Thanks to his information, we had a wonderful time in the Pousada da Mangueira. We...

"Amazingly friendly and helpful staff from the receptionists to the lady preparing breakfast, to the cleaning staff. The rooftop is a great place to read, relax, work, wifi is working very well. Clean shared spaces, clean rooms. Only blot, the bedsheets which I found with marks, although clearly washed. It would be perfect if the sheets and pillowcases were new. "The rooms and towels are not clean, use your own. The area of the hotel, especially the street, is very very dangerous and should be avoided. We were attacked. The shower knob charges electricity and there was no hot water in the room we were checked in."

Hotel Sobrado 25 - Hostel

"Had a good stay here for 3 nights. The room was big, as was the bed- and comfortable. I read one review complaining about the noise, but it wasn’t excessive to us- our room was facing away from the main street. "
