"Since we arrived tried to contact Expedia that we were upset about the room but due to poor internet connection could not get thru. Had to walk steep stairs to the 3rd floor, of an old building, huffing n puffing, rattan on chairs tattered, dilapidated mattress, filthy bacteria laden string to pull flush, toilet cover cracked, insecure seat, lumpy pillows, old stained mirror, breakfast laid out in old plastic containers.Horrible! "Amazingly friendly and helpful staff from the receptionists to the lady preparing breakfast, to the cleaning staff. The rooftop is a great place to read, relax, work, wifi is working very well. Clean shared spaces, clean rooms. Only blot, the bedsheets which I found with marks, although clearly washed. It would be perfect if the sheets and pillowcases were new. Convenient location, just steps from the road where buses are."

"The rooms and towels are not clean, use your own. The area of the hotel, especially the street, is very very dangerous and should be avoided. We were attacked. The shower knob charges electricity and there was no hot water in the room we were checked in."

"Ladies restroom at pool needs work. Lights don't work & soap on wall almost fell off. Long wait for eggs and restaurant lacked seating on Friday morning. Only fried egg omlette; scrambled would have been nice change."
