"This is a very nice home. Plenty of hot water, all appliances work well, kitchen is very functional, beds would have allowed for a large family. Easy to find. Garbage dumpster close by. Very unique and talking point art, throughout the house. Couches are very comfortable, slightly low to the ground for older guests. Laundry on site made unpacking, once home, very enjoyable. "House was well kept and cool. Beach, porch, and dock could use some repair cleanup. Accidentally locked us out of the house but had someone there 10 minutes to let us back in. Overall good stay."

"Our family met here for Christmas this year and it was absolutely lovely. Beautiful holiday decor and the hot cocoa bar was a hit with the kids. The home is exactly as pictured (except the exterior is red now instead of grey, which confused me upon arrival). Plenty of space for the family to spread out but also well-designed for the whole group to be in one room watching a holiday movie and playing games. "The view was perfect and the house was the perfect accommodation for this group. The sprawling lawn was a nice bonus for playing games and getting sun. My suggestion would be to get more rugs for the deck as that deck gets way to hot and put in the ladder for use because it’s hard to get in and out of the river. It was nice that the boat had everything we needed in the kitchen. My only concern was how dusty it was. Overall great spot to go with a large group and friends!"

"Beautiful cottage, spotlessly maintained! 100% as described. Beautiful view of "the bayou" with the fall colors. 2 pair of binoculars available for bird watching was a great perk! We watched a snowy egret AND a bald eagle fishing in the waters...awesome! Only downside was lots of Canadian geese AND tons of their droppings down by the dock and fire ring which made us stay up closer to the house or our dog would have been rolling in it evey day. Hey, nature is nature! They were fun to watch...
